HI-TECH HAS RESPONDED TO THE MARKET CALL       

 

Valves and actuators are riddled with small intricate surfaces that requires the attention only a person with valve experience and expertise can provide. Understanding the design and operating principles of the many valve congfigurations enables us to prepare the product for the optimum in coating requirements. Coating an already assembled and tested unit can present challenges that only a few can meet. In Atlantic Canada there is only one Company that meets all the requirements and expectations. 

Recently awarded contracts by ExxonMobil to Hi-Tech for coating applications to valves being forwarded to the Sable Gas Project (Offshore) received noteworthy praise on the final product. The disciplines required to meet or exceed the specifications set forth by ExxonMobil and specifically those dedicated to valves and actuators, speaks highly to the quality of the products and the application methods used.

We have expanded our capabilities to include a program dedicated specifically to the initial material preparation and eventual application of various coatings to valves and actuators. Local applicators are not sensitive to the detail required to apply coatings to many of the intricate areas of a valve surface. Generally coatings are applied as they would be to a large surface area such as plate or structural metal.  

Having previously worked in a hands-on valve environment, Hi-Tech offers a strong background in the design and working priciples of the various types of valves they apply coatings and linings  to. This important asset coupled with the coating application disciplines implented and followed offers a professional top grade finished product.
